Some people say that "these things are sent to test us". Well, whatever it is that we're being tested for, I think I'm doing the advanced paper.

Yesterday on the way home I recieved a phone call from my ex, who we'll call K. She informs me that she's pregnant.

Logic would dictate that the child is not mine. It's been some months since we last slept together and I've seen her around college since then and she'd be showing by now. Still, it didn't stop me wondering. I asked her later on and I'm not the father.

But as I'd been sleeping with her on and off for a year, and I didn't manage to get her pregnant, does that mean that my sperm are useless?

All this before my first exam of the year.
